This winter the Schmitten offers a special reward to early risers: the turnstiles will be open for business on certain days at 7:00 am. Apart from the grandiose splendors of the early morning mountains, including a magnificent sunrise, the ski runs are attractively empty until brunch-hour arrives on the alm and everyone heads indoors to recharge their batteries.
